Conservation of the antique library collection of Voivodeship Public Library in Opole

On 30 October 2017 Voivodeship Public Library signed an agreement for the realization of a project „Conservation of the antique library collection of WBP in Opole and renovation of the outward castle walls and the draining of rainwater in the Castle and Garden Complex in Rogów Opolski”. The project is subsidized by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund. The restoration of the antique library collection has been carried out since November 2017. The chosen items of the antique library collection undergoing restoration include:

• 88 old prints
• 1 cartographic atlas
• 15 manuscripts
• 50 graphics.
